Helpful staff. The place to go if you want to fossick for fossilised wood in the area. Also the big water melon.
Only drove through althouth it was a tidy town
Located on the highway next to "The Big Melon". Plenty of parking and next to a park for the kids and public toilets. A short walk to BP and McDonald's.
Merchandise is outdated crochet, quilting and hand made purses. People working there did not have any advice for travellers. This place is very much below the standard of all the many other information centers we have stopped.
The two ladies who looked after us were marvellous. We had a showground issue and they handled it superbly. Call in and see them sometime.
