Friendly owner, good communication before we arrived. Nice flat camp site, excellent facilities. Nice and clean with quite a few semi/permanent residents. Very quiet after about 8pm and the guys leave for work about 5 am but they do their best to be quiet. Hot showers with good pressure were fan-bloody-tastic after a full day riding. Pool is nice and cold - super refreshing after a nice cold beer! Buffet looked good but we used the kitchen facilities which were comprehensive. Take a cab or drive into town for a coldie at the Commercial Hotel (nice people and ice-cold beer- we walked and cabbed it back) and enjoy the peace and quiet which lets you enjoy a full nights' sleep. Definitely recommended and biker friendly.
Great caravan park. Clean, modern, can have all you eat meals there. Breakfast if you want it. Plenty if petrified wood in the area. Lots of amenities.
A beautifully well planned park, unique in its design, bringing cabins & caravaners together with plenty of space. A definite 5 star luxury park who also serve meals in a very modern, clean, classy restaurant on the premises. Pictures tell the story. Also has 2 acres of fenced parkland adjoining. Great park. Very relaxing.
Excellent park in a busy country town. The park is modern and has a lot of cabin accommodation, many used by permanent residents. There are good caravan sites and excellent ablutions, however the park appears to be less well known to travellers. There is on-site canteen with good value hearty meals. Highly recommended.
This is our first trip to Chinchilla. A fabulous park with beautifully maintained gardens and general maintenance. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we couldn't go to the restaurant as we have a little dog and there isn't an outside eating area, but by all reports, the meals are great.Congratulations on a well run caravan park.
